A Few Noble Scenes

The Series 4 Box Set which was out on Monday contains a few deleted scenes, at various times throughout the series. There were two scenes that were deleted from Partners In Crime, and now with the new DVD, we can see them! So, below you can watch these. They are the same scenes that were on the DVD, with Bernard Cribbins, but originally Howard Attfield was to reprise the role of Donna's father, Geoff Noble, but sadly he was too unwell after these scenes to carry on with the part. After this, not too long after, Howard passed away. He played the same part in The Runaway Bride, an was going to do the whole of Series 4. When they decided he could not do it any longer, they had a great idea. Put Bernard Cribbins' role, Wilfred Mott, in as her grandfather! And so, it happened. Before the scenes, it has a little introduction with head writer, Russell T. Davies, which tells you more on the matter. So, the Geoff Noble Scenes...

The Scenes Come Buzzing Back!

The Series 4 Box Set which was out on Monday contains a few deleted scenes, at various times throughout the series. There were two scenes that were deleted from The Unicorn and the Wasp, and now with the new DVD, we can see them! So, below you can watch these. The first is from the start of the episode, in the future, when Agatha Christie was an old lady. She talks about trying to remember what happened with flashbacks. The second scene is from the end of the episode, when the Doctor and Donna go back to visit the old Agatha Christie. She remembers them, and they show her the book 'Death in the Clouds', which she wrote, published in the year five billion. These are really nice clips, which i think should have been included. Please note that these are not the complete originals from the box set. They have been slightly edited with music and sorts to make it look better, but it's still the same scenes. The Scenes of a Journey Past

The Series 4 Box Set which was out on Monday contains a few deleted scenes, at various times throughout the series. There were two scenes that were deleted in Journey's End, and now with the new DVD, we can see them! So, below you can watch these. The first is from the Bad Wolf Bay scene at the end of the episode with The two Doctors, Donna and Rose. This was reported earlier, and has the part where the proper Doctor hands a 'chunk of Tardis', so that Rose and the duplicate Doctor can grow their won in the parallel world. The secodn scene has also been reported earlier, and is a slightly alternate ending to the episode. What is different about it is that Donna hears the sound of the Tardis when she is on the phone and Cybermen come up behind the Doctor in the Tardis. Enjoy these clips below;

The Scene That Buzzed Away...

Not so long ago, I posted information from Den of Geek about the special features in the Series 4 DVD Box-Set. Now, we have an exclusive picture from one of the deleted scenes featured. The scene was originally cut from the seventh episode of Series 4, The Unicorn and the Wasp, when the Doctor and Donna go back and see Agatha Christie near the end of the episode as an old women, and judging by the picture, looks like she recognises them. It was sad that they did not keep it in, as it looks a great scene, but they took it out, as they didn't need it, but was just an extra that they could have taken out from the finished episode if they wanted. You can see this picture below, and also view the article from Den of Geek here! Also included is a deleted scene from The Doctor's Daughter, but does not show much of what it is.
