Journey's End - An Hour Long!

According to the Radio Times Website, for Saturday 5th July, it shows the finale of Series 4, Journey's End to be an hour long! From 6:40 to 7:40pm!

On a few episodes like Partners in Crime, The Fires of Pompeii, Turn Left and this week's The Stolen Planet, they were 50 minutes instead of the usual 45. But this is as long as a normal Christmas Special, apart from Voyage of the Damned!

This just shows that the episode is going to be jam-packed full of action and suprises, as it should, as it rounds all 4 series off at a close! The whole story, not including Turn Left is going to be 1 hour 50 minutes long, which is 13 minutes longer than the longest before, which was The Sound of Drums/Last of the Timelords!

If quite a few episodes are getting longer, does this mean that they are going to continue to get longer in Series 5?

And how long will the specials be in 2009?
