Easter Will Be Strongly Directed!

The director for next year's Easter Special has now been officially announced. For those confused, there will be four specials next year, on top of this year's on Christmas. Planned are one at Easter, one in the middle of the Summer, one in the Autumn, and the usual one at Christmas. James Strong will be directing Easter's, so we have now found out, but the others are still to be confirmed. The writers for the special were confirmed a while back as Russell T. Davies and Gareth Roberts. And it looks like this is going to be a very exciting episode!
"James has handled Daleks in sewers, hordes of Adipose and Satan himself, as well as a Titanic with Kylie on board, but believe me, none of that will have prepared him for what we're about to unleash in the next script!"
Apparently, the directors have been confirmed, but they're keeping it in at the moment, to keep us on our toes, but we can assume that they will pick all the best directors, as it's Russell T. Davies' final goodbye from the show, and it needs to be big!

In other news, Steven Moffat has been awarded the prize for Best Writing for Film or TV category at the BAFTA Scotland Awards, according to a report in the Daily Record newspaper. You can read the full story here.
