The Next Doctor - Synopsis

Christmas is just under a month away, and so the BBC have released the synopsis for this year's festive special, The Next Doctor! The Next Doctor sees the return of one of the Doctor's greatest enemies, the Cybermen, as well as a different type of Cyberman, the Cybershades and a new-look Cyber Leader. David Tennant still plays the Doctor, and so will David Morrissey, but the exact information about that topic is being kept secret as of now. Below you can read this synopsis;
It's Christmas Eve in 1851 and Cybermen stalk the snow of Victorian London, in this special Christmas edition of Russell T Davies's Bafta Award-winning time-travelling drama. When the Doctor arrives and starts to investigate a spate of mysterious deaths, he's surprised to meet another Doctor, and soon the two must combine forces to defeat the ruthless Miss Hartigan. But are two Doctors enough to stop the rise of the CyberKing?
A preview for the Christmas episode was shown on Children in Need on the 14th, and you can see that on an earlier post here. It has also been confirmed that The Next Doctor will definitely be broadcast on Christmas day, as the makers were not quite sure, and then rumours of it being different this year. But no, another ordinary Who-Xmas awaits...

Enemy of the Bane Part 2 - Synopsis

The synopsis for the second part of Enemy of the Bane, from the second series of The Sarah Jane Adventures, has been released today. It is the sixth story, episode twelve of this series, and follows on from the second episode of the last story. The first part of the story will first air on the CBBC channel on 8th December at 5:15pm, and then it will properly start on BBC One on 15th December at 4:35pm. You can view this part's synopsis below;

Mrs Wormwood and Kaagh reveal their true colours, in the concluding episode of this two-part adventure. Sarah Jane and the gang, meanwhile, find themselves in a race against time when Luke is kidnapped and they discover they have a hidden enemy amongst them. Only the Brigadier can save the day, before a final showdown at an ancient stone circle ensues. Mrs Wormwood is played by Samantha Bond, Sarah Jane by Elisabeth Sladen, Luke by Thomas Knight and the Brigadier by Nicholas Courtney.

It is the fifth story, episode nine of this series, and follows on from the first episode of the same story. Gita vanishes and Sarah Jane encounters an unwelcome face from the past - Mrs Wormwood - as the children's drama series, produced by Russell T Davies, continues. Now hunted by the Bane, Mrs Wormwood needs Sarah Jane's help to foil their plan to take over the galaxy with an ancient alien power. And Sarah Jane also needs help - from the Brigadier. Gita is played by Mina Anwar, Sarah Jane by Elisabeth Sladen and Mrs Wormwood by Samantha Bond.

The Temptation of Sarah Jane Smith Part 2 - Synopsis

The synopsis for the second part of The Temptation of Sarah Jane Smith, from the second series of The Sarah Jane Adventures, has been released today. It is the fifth story, episode ten of this series, and follows on from the first episode of the same story. The second part of it will first air on the CBBC channel on 24th November at 5:15pm, and then it will properly start on BBC One on 1st December at 4:35pm. You can view this part's synopsis below;

Clyde and Rani, trapped in a devastated alternative world with the survivors of mankind, make a desperate bargain with The Graske, in the concluding part of this two-episode adventure. Then Rani travels to 1951 to help Sarah Jane, who has been reunited with her long-lost parents. Sarah Jane needs to defeat the Trickster - but will the price she has to pay be too high? Clyde is played by Daniel Anthony, Rani by Anjil Mohindra and Sarah Jane Smith by Elisabeth Sladen.

The Mark Of The Berserker Part 2 - Synopsis

The synopsis for the second part of The Mark of the Berserker, from the second series of The Sarah Jane Adventures, has been released today. It is the fourth story, episode eight of this series, and follows on from the first episode of the same story. The second part of it will first air on the CBBC channel on 3rd November at 5:15pm, and then it will properly start on BBC One on 10th November at 4:35pm. Luke and Rani enlist the help of Clyde's mum to help track down Clyde and his father, who has the alien pendant, as the children's drama series, produced by Russell T Davies, continues. Secrets of the Stars - Synopsis

The synopsis for one of the stories of the second series of The Sarah Jane Adventures has been released today. It is the third story this series, entitled Secrets of the Stars, and follows the latest episode, The Day of the Clown. The first part of it will first air on the CBBC channel on 20th October at 5:15pm, and then it will properly start on BBC One on 27th at 4:35pm. You can view this synopsis below;

Sarah Jane and the gang embark on another exciting new adventure this week as the children's drama series, produced by Russell T Davies, continues.

Astrologer Martin Trueman causes a stir with his uncanny insights and predictions. While Sarah Jane doesn't believe in astrology, she does believe that all is not as it seems with Trueman. Around her, people are falling under Trueman's sinister spell and even Mr Smith doesn't understand what's going on.

Sarah Jane is played by Elisabeth Sladen, Martin Trueman by Russ Abbot and Mr Smith by Alexander Armstrong.
