Paul McGann Is Back?

Our favourite news resource, the Sun, has reported news of the return of the eighth Doctor to one of the 2009 Specials next year! Paul McGann starred in the TV Movie, made back in 1996, taking the role from Sylvester McCoy, the seventh Doctor, who was also in the start of the movie. No series was ever made with paul McGann as the Doctor in the film. Christopher Eccleston then took over in 2005, for the first full series since 1989. During then McGann has made many new audiobooks from Big Finish, but apparently now the BBC want him back on TV for a one-off special. The special will also feature the current Doctor, David Tennant. What the Sun seem to have got wrong is that he 'has remained a firm favourite with fans'. Which is slightly untrue, as most fans see him as the worst.
Flashback scenes will see him battered from the Time War and shorn of the long hair he had in the film.
If this is to happen, he is due to start filming in October or November. This would be great to show what actually happened in the Time War, but would it actually be good or not? What are your thoughts? You can read the full article here.
Please Comment! Thanks!
