Doctor Who Adventures 80

The information and cover for this week's issue of Doctor Who Adventures, issue 80, has been revealed. Here is the official press release:

This week in Doctor Who Adventures we’re off to a dangerous world. You’ll find everything you need to know about the mysterious monster that trapped the Doctor when he visited the planet Midnight. The weird thing is, we never got to find out what the creature looked like – so we’ve got a competition to draw what you think the creature looks like. The winning entry will receive a Dalek Voice Changer Helmet – and have their monster appear in a future issue of Doctor Who Adventures.

SJA - Series 2 More Promotional Pictures

Torchwood - Lost Souls Trailer

A new trailer for the Torchwood Lost Souls exclusive audio adventure, has been released from the BBC. The trailer, which you can hear below, is now airing on many BBC Radio channels, to promote it. The story will air on Wednesday 10th September 2008, at 2:15 in the afternoon. Will you be listening to it?

I have been working hard in the past week, and have completed episode guides of the whole of Doctor Who, Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures. You can find links to them just under the banner. Also, I have added more pages, like site looks, where you can look at all the past designs, banners and logos of the site. There is a completely new links page, as I couldn't fit all of them onto the sidebar. I've completed the guides to the monsters and villains of the new series, a couple of spacestation files, dwm, dwa and remember to enter the caption competition! You can view all of this by using the links at the top.

The pictures above and below show the bubble with the Tardis closed, and open. Pushing the button on the side of it makes the Tardis spin, and split in half, to reveal the Tenth Doctor inside, with flashing lights! Series 4 Box Set - Special Features

In the fourth volume of Series 4, out today, it has a special extra 4 page booklet, with the front cover showing the cover of the box set and information. The cover of the set is exactly the same to the ones we have seen before, so that rules out the rumour about the hmv cover. The special features, according to this, are as follows:

• All 13 Episodes of Series Four
• 2007 Christmas Special: Voyage of the Damned
• 14 Episodes of Doctor Who Confidential (Edited)
• 14 Commentaries
• 14 Audio Descriptions
• David Tennant's Video Diaries
• Kylie Minogue's Video Diary

• Out-Takes & Deleted Scenes

Also, the fourth volume of series 4 has a poster of the front cover. It is the same size as the front and back covers, and is attached onto the cover. But it has no writing, except for the Doctor Who logo on it.

Series 4 Box Set - Exclusive Postcards

When ordered off Play.com, the Series 4 box set will come with five exclusive postcards. All the postcards are exclusive to Play.com, and the pictures are various promo pictures including The Doctor and his companions, Red Dalek with Gold Daleks and Davros. To the left is the picture of the original box set, with the five postcards. It is unknown at this time whether other stores like Amazon and Woolworths will have exclusive covers for the set. Series 4 Volume 4 - Out Today!

The fourth and final part to the Series 4 collection is out today! Above is the cover, and the DVD comes with a Super Top Trumps card of Davros. The cover features Davros, a red Dalek, a normal gold Dalek, the Doctor and all his companions. It will be released as a PG, even though in the picure it says a 12. The DVD has the three final episodes of Series 4: Turn left, The Stolen Earth and Journey's End. It does not come with special features, but the box-set will, which is out at the end of November. Will you be buying this?

David Tennant - Olympic Flame Lighter Petition

A petition has been made, which allows you to sign a petition towards David Tennant lighting the Olympic flame at the Olympics in London, in 2012. In Fear Her, he was to show his companion, Rose Tyler, the 2012 Olympics, but ended up lighting the Olympic flame himself. The makers of the petition would like to give him this offer for real.
